The Journey of Your Commission
Every piece follows a rigorous, collaborative process designed to ensure the aesthetic intent is fully realized within the garment's architecture.
It all begins with a private meeting. Together, we establish the inspiration, function, and style of your garment. By reviewing sketches, exploring archival fabrics, and discussing materials and decor, we lay the structural foundation to ensure the design exists in perfect harmony with your proportions.
Once a direction is achieved, we source the finest materials and begin the development of a toile—a mock-up garment. This stage serves as the bridge between concept and reality, allowing us to visualize the design’s silhouette and movement.
During the toile fitting, a conversation occurs between the maker, the fabric, and the wearer. We refine the internal architecture and experiential finishings, ensuring the fit is flawless. This process is essential to ensure the garment moves with you, serving as both a mirror of the individual and a masterpiece of construction.
Once the toile is perfected, the final garment is cut and assembled. A second fitting is conducted to ensure the execution is impeccable. Every stitch and structural element is meticulously reviewed to guarantee a flawless transition from the atelier to the individual.
Upon completion of the final adjustments, your garment is ready. You may collect it directly from our atelier, or we can arrange for delivery to your location (delivery fees apply).
